“The forever song” is the third and last book in the “Blood of Eden” trilogy, written by the author of the “Iron fey” series, Julie Kagawa. The story is set in a dystopian future in which vampires rule over humans as kings of the cities.

Alison has surrounded to the monster inside her. She is tired of fighting it and she just wants revenge on Sarren, since he taken the last thing that grounded her to her humanity, Zeke. Jackal, Kanin and her start their journey to Eden in order to stop Sarren, and kill him once and for all. The journey leads them to Old Chicago, where Jackal minions have founded a new leader, one Alison is not expecting.

“The forever song” was a really good ending to a good an original series. What I really liked about this book was how Alison is able to reach out to Zeke and teach him how to be like her. The only thing I did not like much though was how incredibly stubborn was Sarren to be killed. Apart from that, I really liked the developing of humanity in Jackal. Moreover, as I said in the review from the previous book, I do not like much the character of Kanin and how he was important to the plot.

In conclusion, this last instalment was a good ending for a series which takes a unique turn on vampires mixing them with dystopia and post-apocalyptical genre.

She discovers a new part of her life that threatens with run over everything else. Weird things start happening and the only one that can be blame is Morgan who is uninitiated, since now Ciaran is on the run, and Selene and Cal dead. Hunter brings someone to help her out but her solution to things kinds of goes to extreme. Also, Alisa leaves the coven, since all the things happening scared her off. “Strife” was a good book in the series but it got me lost a little bit. They introduced Alisa’s point of view which kinds of puts me off a little bit and all in all it was a little tedious

Probably everyone knows what the series is about since the first book was turned this year into a movie. The story develops in a city where the population is divided into factions based on their characters: Abnegation, Amity, Dauntless, Candor and Erudite. Each faction has a role in society; and at the age of sixteen kids are put into a test which will show them what their character is, and then they will choose any faction they want.
