Nerve book to movie adaptation

Nerve follows Vee who, to show what is she capable of, starts playing an online game in which to win prizes and money you have to complete a series of dares. The dares have to be recorded by the contestant and their videos are given votes by Watchers.   Nerve was a really nail-biting, thought-provoking movie. I really liked how it was developed and how the story sucks you in. I think that it shows really well how little by little one person is able to change when they are being offered something in exchange. At first Vee’s dares were kind of funny and stupid, but then they start getting dangerous. I also think Emma Roberts does a really good job portraying an innocent high school girl and how she changes her acting as the character develops through the movie. Dave Franco also did a fantastic job portraying Ian, a mysterious guy, who no one knows where he came from, which is the other main character. The chemistry between them two made the romance between the characters feel vivi

Nerve - Jeanne Ryan

Tittle: Nerve Author: Jeanne Ryan Genre: Fiction, YA, Contemporary, Thriller, Mystery, Dystopia, Romance, Suspense Pages: 306 Publisher: Simmon and Schuster Children’s UK Edition: Digital (Kindle) Time to read it: 1 day Language: English Rating: 5/5 “Nerve” is a stand-alone novel written by Jeanne Ryan. The book has now been turned into a movie casting Dave Franco and Emma Roberts as main characters. Vee is the kind of girl that always stays in the back; she does not stand up and lives in the shadow of her best friend Sydney. Tired to be the one that never takes risks she decides to take part in an online game in which you have to perform dares. At first she does it for fun and to prove herself she can do it. However, after her first dare she is given the opportunity to play more for really good prizes. Is then when she meets Ian who will become her partner in the game. However as they go through the dares they became more and more intense and they will f

This girl - Coleen Hoover

Tittle: This Girl Series: Slammed Author: Colleen Hoover Genre: Romance, New adult, Young Adult, Contemporary, Chick-lit Pages: 304 Publisher: Simon & Schuster Format: Digital (Kindle edition) Time to read it: 1 day Language: English Rating: 3/5 “This Girl” is the third book in the “Slammed” series written by Collen Hoover. Will and Lake just got married they are on their honeymoon and they spent time remembering how things started between them. Will tells from his pint of view different moments that we knew from Lake’s point of view, as well as Lake’s opinion on them after Will finishes. “This girl” was an unnecessary addition to the series in my opinion. The stories Will tells are cute and really well described, but it did not add anything to the series at all. I still think Collen Hoover is really talented writing from a boy’s perspective, but apart from that it did not tell me anything I did not know about the characters.

Point of retreat - Colleen Hoover

Tittle: Point of Retreat Series: Slammed Author: Colleen Hoover Genre: Romance, New adult, Young Adult, Contemporary, Chick-lit Pages: 215 Publisher: Simon & Schuster Format: Digital (Kindle edition) Time to read it:  Language: English Rating: 5/5 “Point of retreat” is the second book in the “Slammed” series by Colleen Hoover , a well-known author for her contemporary romance books. Everything is going smoothly, a new year is about to start and Lake and Will are working things out taking care of their brothers and being happy together. However, life cannot be that easy specially when their brothers seem to be unable to be away from trouble, and when someone Will was not expecting came back into his life. “Point of Retreat” was a terrific compelling contemporary book. I really liked the originality of it being told from the boy’s point of view, which is not something that happens a lot in contemporary romance. I think
