“The titan’s curse”is the third book in the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series written byRick Riordan. The series follows Percy a half-blood or demi-god, son ofPoseidon and a human woman, as he finds out his true self.
Percy, Annabeth and Talia are called by Grover who has founded twohalf-blooded kids. They were supposed to help him taken them to half-bloodcamp, where they will discover their true selves. However, as they were goingto take them they got attacked by one of the teachers at the school who was amanticore.  During the fight the huntersand Artemisia herself appeared to help them, nonetheless the manticore tokeAnnabeth with him and Artemisia left her hunters and the kids in her BrotherApollo’s hands as she went fight a monster.
Once at camp, ---- decided to join the hunters and a new quest was givenby the oracle. Percy was not in the quest this time, never the less, he couldnot stay away from this quest, and he felt the need to go save Annabeth. Therefore, he followed the hunters, Talia and Grover on the quest.

“The titan’s curse”was a really good nail-biting book. I think I am liking the series a littlemore with each book I read, and that makes me regret that these books were notavailable when I was a kid here in Spain, because I am sure I would haveenjoyed them much more. The books are really well written and you can see thereis a lot of research on mythology in order to write the books. Each creaturethat appears in the books is not a creation of the author, it exist indeed inthe Greek mythology. Apart from that there are elusions to different parts ofthe mythology not only the related to the Olympus gods.
To conclude I wouldlike to recommend this series so far to anyone, but specially this would be agood present for everyone in the ages of 14 or so. It is full of adventure andentertainment.

Probably everyone knows what the series is about since the first book was turned this year into a movie. The story develops in a city where the population is divided into factions based on their characters: Abnegation, Amity, Dauntless, Candor and Erudite. Each faction has a role in society; and at the age of sixteen kids are put into a test which will show them what their character is, and then they will choose any faction they want. Something went wrong in our main character test, which will change her life and the ones surrounding her forever.             Now, Four’s mother, the leader of the factionless, governs the city. The

Half Year Wrap Up and July TBR

Hello everyone, as I said on my update and favorites post I’m sorry I’ve been absent lately. Because of that, I’m not going to do a monthly wrap up, but a middle of the year wrap up. I can’t believe we have already hit the middle of the year, but here we are and I’m four books behind in my goodreads challenge, which is more or less like a month. It isn’t much considering how little time I have had to read, as well as many other things, and considering there were two months in which I didn’t finished one book.  We start with January, the best month reading wise I’ve had in years, I completed a total of 8 books in addition to a novella and a graphic novel. Not only that, I also highly enjoyed most books I read during that month  “Captivated by You” by Sylvia Day. The last book published in the Crossfire series, really liked it, and I can’t wait for the next book which I think might be the last. (4/5) “Conociendo a Raul” by Blue Jeans. The novella I read, prequel to “El Club de

Strife - Cate Tiernan

Tittle: Strife Author: Cate Tiernan Genre: Fiction, YA, Romance, fantasy, witches, magik, coming of age. Pages: 188 Publisher: Puffin Format: Digital (Kindle) Time to read it: 5 days Language: English Rating: 4/5 “Strife is the ninth book in the “Wicca/Sweep” series, a series that follows Morgan as she finds out about the existence of magik and her relationship with it. She discovers a new part of her life that threatens with run over everything else. Weird things start happening and the only one that can be blame is Morgan who is uninitiated, since now Ciaran is on the run, and Selene and Cal dead. Hunter brings someone to help her out but her solution to things kinds of goes to extreme. Also, Alisa leaves the coven, since all the things happening scared her off. “Strife” was a good book in the series but it got me lost a little bit. They introduced Alisa’s point of view which kinds of puts me off a little bit and all in all it was a little tedious
