If I Stay (book to movie adaptation)

I recently read “If I stay” by Gayle Forman, and I really liked it (see my whole review). I read it meanly because I wanted to see the movie, which was hyped up when it came out. The movie was overall good, I was hoping to like it more but it wasn’t bad at all. However it wasn’t a movie I will consider watching over and over again. As a book to movie adaptation it was pretty decent and accurate. Of course, there were things which were more shocking in the book and weren’t picturing like that in the movie. But also, there were parts added in the movie that weren’t like that in the book, like the fact Mia and Adam were apart. There was a thing I really liked and it was the characters, they were pretty accurate and I’m not talking about their physical appearance, being honest I didn’t even remember their appearance on the books, but the feeling they transmitted. And it’s also true the feeling watching the movie was the same as reading the book. Never the less, maybe it might be a lit

Bloodwitch . Cate Tiernan

Tittle: Bloodwitch Series: Sweep Author: Cate Tiernan Genre: Fiction, YA, magic, witches, wicca Pages: 208 Publisher: Speak Format: Kindle edition Time to read it: 1 day Language: English Rating: 4/5 Bloodwitch is the third book in the Sweep or Wicca series written by Cate Tiernan. The series follows Morgan as she gets into the Wicca world when Cal and his mother arrive to their town. After finding her biological mother’s book of shadows on Cal’s mother’s library, Morgan is able to get to know a little better her mother’s story. However, Bree’s new circle is starting to creep her out specially Sky and Hunter, she has a bad feeling about those two, and Cal doesn’t like them either. Bloodwitch was a good book. I kind of missed that the beginnings were extracts from Morgan’s mother, since that way we could guess part of her story, however I’m pretty sure this one’s have something to do with our characters too. I don’t know how I’m feeling about the new cha

If I Stay - Gayle Forman

Tittle: If I stay Series: If I stay #1 Author: Gayle Forman Genre: YA, fiction, contemporary, realistic, chick-lit, romance, family, death, music Pages: 196 Publisher: Speak Format: Kindle Time to read it: 2 days Language: English Rating: 5/5      “If I Stay” is a book written by Gayle Forman. The book, often mentioned in the book community, was all over the hype last year when its movie adaptation hit the theaters.         Mia and her family had a terrible car accident, her parents were dead almost instantly, and she didn´t know what happened to her little brother. She was taken to hospital and put on the ICU. Her parents, family and friends visit her and she sees everything from outside of her body. Now she has to decide if she stays or leave to the uncertain place her parents leave.      “If I Stay” was a phenomenal book. If you read the plot it might seem like a supernatural ghost story but it isn’t, I will even consider it realistic

July Wrap Up - August TBR

This month has been a really good month for my Reading progress. I have been able to read a total of eleven books, I think it has been the month in which I‘ve read the most of my entire life! Not only that, I have managed to finish one series (The Infernal devices trilogy), as well as, being up to date with another one (The Raven Cycle). In addition to all this, I feel even better because I really liked all the books I’ve read, and I loved most of them. The first book I started on the last day of June and finished right away was Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare, the second book in the infernal devices trilogy. I found this book really captivating but less original than the first one, that’s the only reason I gave it a four out of five stars. ( Full review here) Then run to read City of lost souls by Cassandra Clare, as well, from her other series in the Shadowhunters world, The Mortal Instruments, this is the second to last book in the series and it was amazing, five out of fiv
