Series I've been watching on... Tuesdays

Today I will continue with the series I’ve been watching this fall. On Tuesdays new episodes from three different series I follow aired. First, “The Flash” which second season started this fall and will continue after the Christmas break. “The Flash” follows Barry Allen, who got struck by a lightning and since then is able to move faster than any other human being. He soon will find out that the lightning bolt that gave him his powers was caused by the particulate accelerator that failed, and that also gave super-powers to other human beings, transforming them into meta-humans.   He will fight these meta-humans as the flash. In the second season when Barry destroyed the murderer of his mother he created a portal that communicates this universe with an alternative one, in which meta-humans also exist. In that universe, there were also two speedsters, one was transported to this universe with no powers, the other, called Zoom, is trying to kill Barry by sending meta-humans from

Mockingly part 2 - book to movie adaptation

Last week I finally went to the cinema to watch the last movie in the Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay part two. The movie follows the second half of the book with the same name written by Suzanne Collins. (Check the book review here) After rescuing Peeta, Katniss finds herself unable to deal with him hating her so she ask to be taken to the battlefield. Coin accepts and sends her to district two, where lays the capitol military force. There Gale makes a strategy to get rid of the problem, a strategy Katniss doesn’t like. Once the military force in district two is managed the only thing left is the capitol itself. Coin refuses to send Katniss there; however she is determined to kill Snow herself even if to do so she has to go into a new arena. The movie itself was great. Of course it had more politics and the action was concentrated in different points of the movie. I think the scenarios created when they are at the capitol were fantastic, as well as, the special effects w

Series I've been watching on .... Mondays

You know I love books but I also love watching TV series; with today’s post I start a new “series” in which I will talk to you about the series I’ve been watching this past fall. I will start with Mondays. On Mondays I’ve been watching Awkward, which started its fifth season on the early fall. I’ve been watching this series since it started and I think it is a funny and enjoyable series.  However, I’m hoping this season will be the last one as the series is becoming more and more repetitive. The series, for the ones that haven’t heard about it, follows the life of the teenage Jenna Hamilton, who does not have the best luck in her life. Her life actually flips around when after finding a letter in which someone tells her how depressing her life is, she has an accident in the bathroom that looked a lot like a suicide attempt. From that moment on her life is all twist and turns. In this season Jena and her friends are seniors and their high school experience is coming to an
