TOP TEN TUESDAY

This week’s TOP TEN TUESDAY is “Top ten books I’d never want to live in, or top ten characters I’d never want to trade place with” And as probably everyone, I wouldn’t like to live in any dystopian world. However, I have chosen 9 different worlds, which aren’t all dystopian. In addition to that, I’ve chosen one character, which I will post at the end. 9. Pretty Little Liars – Sara Shepard; I wouldn’t want to live in Rosewood. There, you just have to be somehow related to any of the main characters to end up as collateral damage.      8. A Game of Thrones – George RR Martin; Is my personal belief that no matter what you are, were you live or what role you will have on this novel; you will be always be in extreme danger. 7. The Vampire Diaries – LJ Smith; A similar thing happens with this book. Somehow, Fell’s Church is always on the spotlight of different evil creatures. Therefore, I am pretty sure I will not be safe for a long pe

BOOKISH RESOLUTIONS

I know January is almost over; nonetheless I wanted to let out my reading resolutions. I’ve been thinking about this for quite a long time, because I wanted them to be well set and planned. The first thing is that I would love to read 50 books for my goodreads challenge. I’d like that from those 50, 12 would be on the “Addicted to YA” book club on goodreads. Other 12 would be adult books. I’d love to read 5 classics and 3 non-fictions. Apart from that, I challenge myself to complete the A-Z challenge.   This challenge mainly consist on setting a list of books, each of contains one letter of the alphabet, preferably the first letter in the first word. Here is my list: A witch in winter – Ruth Warburton Blood Promise – Richelle Mead Callame con un Beso – Blue Jeans Daughter of Smoke and Bone – Laini Taylor Eleanor and Park – Rainbow Rowel Forbidden   - Tabitha Suzuma Gone – Michael Grant Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince – JK Rowling Insurgent - Vero

Half way though BOUT OF BOOKS 9.0 read-a-thon

Hello everyone,  For those who doesn't know I am participating on the BOUT OF BOOKS 9.0 read-a-thon. The read-a-thon is more than half way trough, so I decided I will do an update to let you know how I am doing. I started the read-a-thon with the book I had started on December.  DAY 1: I read a 28% of the book. From 44 to 72%. That means I read 126 pages. DAY 2: It was my busiest and tiring day. I could just read an 8% at night before fall sleep. Those are 42 pages DAY 3: I finally finished this book yesterday, therefore I read a 20% which are a total of 105 pages. The reasons I explained these three days in percents it's because I read this book on my kindle. TODAY, DAY 4: I started "Cállame con un Beso" (Shut me up with a kiss) which is the final book in the "Canciones para Paula" (Songs for Paula) trilogy. And I can't believe that I read half of this massive book. Then, I read a total of 307 pages. To sum up I read a

TOP TUESDAY #2

Well, I know it's thursday but it's been a quite busy week. So I decided better later than never. So here there are my TOP TEN GOALS FOR 2014: 1. Healthy lifestyle. I know this is quite a common goal in every people, although I really think I should do it. For me and myself, as actually the months I was healthier, eat well and exercise were the months I felt less depressed. Therefore I think it's a good goal. 2. Improve my English. For most people around me, I have a pretty high english level. Nonetheless, I still don't have a decent high level tittle, so I decided this year I will go for it. 3. Create. Ok, this goal is related to my career on first instance. As I am a designer I should design my own stuff more often. Related to this I want to push myself into presenting my projects to some contests. On the other hand, this is also related to this blog and creating different content to make it as I have always imagine it to be.  4. Find some sort of job

BOUT OF BOOKS 9.0

Hello everyone,        Last year I got introduced into the book world more in depth, along with it I got introduced to the read-a-thons. Read-a-thons are, for those of you who don't know, a way of reading as much as you can in a shortly period of time. Usually they are hosted by different bloggers, youtubers, etc. I tried, unsuccessfully, last year to participate on a couple of this. This year I am aiming on participating and successfully complete 2 of this.    This month Bout of Books will be hosting its 9th read-a-thon. For those who don't know about it, here is the information: The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are chall

WRAPING 2013 UP

Hello everyone, today I am going to get personal. I will be sharing with you my year which wasn't an easy year, however I am really happy for some things I accomplished. I will start my year in October 2011, as thats when the most noticeable change happen.  I arrived in Italy at the very beginning of October. At first it was exciting: new place, new things, etc. I remember taking the train every single day to go to Genoa and just walk or go shopping. Some days I had to go to do paper work. I started to get a bit impatient, as it wasn’t until the 20 th that I finally got to start my classes. Until that day I had some bad days because I didn’t really had anything to do.  Nonetheless, I started both, my class for my final thesis, as well as, my Italian course. I met a couple of girls who were really nice, but they were even less outgoing than I am. Therefore, I stopped doing the typical things people in my age does. On November I got really sick. Just a regula
